WELCOME
Ennerdale Water
Hello and welcome to my blog, I've been serious walking now since 2009 and feel I should share my experiences with others who share the same interest and hopefully help where possible.
I'm only an amateur with much to learn and many places to explore, but hopefully the little I have experienced may help you and make your planning a little easier. If it's a route, accommodation, transport or just an idea what the area looks like through my pictures, it would make me happy if it helps you in anyway.
My favourite walk so far is in no doubt the Coast to Coast, I love the planning, the different people you meet and especially taking all those lovely photos. I will hopefully walk this long distance path many times, changing the routes slightly everytime, maybe forced into changing the routes because of bad weather but I will always be excited by whats around the corner.
I love the Dales, North Yorkshire Moors and the Lakes, but the National Park I walk the most is the Peak District, and because it's on my door step it's good training for the long distance walks.
I'm not one for writing, maybe it's because I'm not very good at it, so there's not much written on this blog, it's mainly about showing you the views and the routes taken. There will be at least one good walk posted each month so feel free to check, it maybe just the walk for you.
